Eucumbene Trout Farm

Due to the ongoing drought dam levels are quite low.

The 6 hectare privately-owned lake at the Trout Farm is very well stocked with Rainbow Trout .

These fish vary in size from 300gms up to 3 kg with  specimens above two  kilos regularly being taken.

Over the recent holidays, 100`s of Rainbow Trout were taken with the largest weighing in at 2.4 kg .

The majority of our fish are caught & released so they are now swimming around looking for your fly

Most of these trout were caught on Olive Nymph Fly or Woolly Buggers.

If you don't have your own, Fly rods etc. are  available at the Trout Farm.

First time Fly- fishermen are  catered for with an introductory lesson. 

You can organise this when you book.  

  Farm stay

 Accommodation is planned.  

 But not yet available on the farm.

  It will consist of one double room with ensuite,

private lounge with open fire & veranda area for those

lazy afternoon sunsets over the mountains.

Meanwhile there are thousands of places to stay in

the Snowy Mountains area.
